Uki Deane

Uki Deane is an Argentinian entrepreneur who founded Bermies, a swimwear brand. Deane appeared on Season 9 Episode 24 of Shark Tank. He sought a $200k investment for a 20% stake in Bermies, but he was unable to secure a deal.

Before Shark Tank

Deane worked in corporate finance before beginning to work on Shark Tank. He used a combination of savings and loans from family and friends to fund Bermies.

On Shark Tank

Deane gave a shirtless, energetic pitch while wearing his own pair of Bermies swim trunks. While the Sharks liked his enthusiasm, they found him to be a bit too scattered and unfocused on defining his business plan, which likely influenced their decision to not make a deal with Bermies.
